LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
At Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc., we take customer satisfaction very seriously. We have full confidence in our quality and tremendous pride in the craftsmanship of our products, that we are able to offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
As outlined in the warranty below, all craftsmanship is backed up by a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original owner starting from the date of the signed contract. All Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc. workmanship which includes case construction, face frames (if applicable), moldings, drawer construction, doors, drawer fronts, false fronts, toe kicks, and countertops (if purchased and installed by us) are included in said warranty. Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc. does not warranty items covered by the hardware manufacturer such as mechanical hardware, door/drawer pulls and lighting. Neglect, abuse and natural aging or discoloration due to aging is not covered in said warranty.
DURFEE CUSTOM CABINETS, INC. LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc. warrants to the original consumer purchaser from the date of signed contract, that cabinetry will be free from defect in material and workmanship under normal residential use for the lifetime of the product.
As with other natural materials, wood is affected by environmental factors such as natural and artificial lighting. Darkening or mellowing of the wood can be expected and is a natural process as wood ages. Each wood species also exhibits its own distinctive patterns and characteristics which add to its natural beauty. These variations in color and characteristics are not considered imperfections or defects. This warranty does not cover the natural aging and darkening of wood color nor does it apply to inherent growth characteristics of wood. Also due to the wide variety of everyday living, humidity and lighting variations, Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc., does not warranty cabinet finishes.
All Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc. workmanship which includes case construction, face frames, (if applicable), moldings, drawer construction, doors, drawer fronts, false fronts, toe kicks, countertops, (if purchased and installed directly by Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc.) are included in said warranty. Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc. does not warranty countertops purchased or installed by outside parties.
The hardware we use, (drawer slides and hinges), at Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc. also include a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Handles and Knobs are not covered by this warranty. This Limited Lifetime warranty provides that the door hinges and drawer slides will be free from defects under normal use. Replacement hinges and drawer slides are subject to their availability from our suppliers and Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc. reserves the right to choose replacement parts that are available. Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc. may elect to repair or replace any defective product covered by our warranty. Our warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, alterations, environmental conditions, improper installation by others, storage and handling; nor any labor expenses.
From time to time, we will change hardware and materials as conditions require and improvements are developed, but we have no obligation to incorporate such changes in products we previously manufactured.
Regular cabinet maintenance and upkeep are the homeowner’s responsibility. As can be expected with everyday use, your cabinets will show wear with age. However, with proper care and maintenance, your cabinets will give you a lifetime of pleasure. Any repair or service request outside of the Limited Lifetime Warranty will require a service charge, with an additional labor and/or material charge determined by the nature of the work requested.
This warranty is in lieu of any and all other warranties, expressed or implied; and excludes any incidental or consequential damages. No representative has the authority to change or enlarge the above warranty.
To obtain performance under this warranty, the purchaser must contact Durfee Custom Cabinets, Inc. and report in writing, all defects claimed.
